Emmett the Elephant

Über die Zeitschrift NAAG, von Agyness Deyn, bin ich auf den englischen Shop SCP gestoßen. Es muss Schicksal gewesen sein, das mich dort hin geführt hat (leider nur in den Online Shop), denn ich habe mich verliebt. In Emmet, den Elefanten. Nur ein kurzer Blick und schon war es um mich geschehen. Seine schwarzen Glasäuglein blicken mich an und lassen mich warm ums Herz werden. Ich möchte Emmet kuscheln, sofort! Ich möchte sein flauschiges Fell aus Mohair an mich drücken und nie wieder los lassen. Der 30 cm große Elefant aus der Grafschaft Northumberland hat zwar einen stolzen Preis aber ich bin mir sicher, er ist es auch wert!

      Thanks to NAAG, the magazine by Agyness Deyn, I heard of the English store SCP. It must have been destiny that took me there (only virtually for now), cause I fell in love! With Emmet, the Elephant. Only a quick look at him and I melt away. His little black glass eyes looked at me and warmed my heart. I wanna cuddle Emmet right now! I wanna hug him, embosom his soft mohair fur and never let him go. The price of the 30 cm tall elephant from the Northumberland county is high but I am sure he is worth it!

PS: Für diejenigen, die eher auf Dunkelhaarige stehen ist Edwin der Elefant auch keine schlechte Option... ;)

Es ist Zeit, die Sonnenbrillen-Kollektion zu erweitern! Ich habe zwar schon ein ganz bestimmtes Model von Marc Jacobs im Auge aber während ich dafür spare, gucke ich mich auch gerne wo anders rum. Und da gibt es eine Marke von der ich total fasziniert bin seit ich sie kenne: Oliver Peoples. Ich weiß nicht woran es liegt, dass das Label auf mich so unfassbar cool wirkt aber ich vermute, es liegt hauptsächlich an den wunderbaren Kampagnen. Seit 2008 produziert Oliver Peoples jedes Jahr einen neuen Kurzfilm für die neue Kollektion und Werbekampagne. Meine Lieblingsfilme sind "Catch a Tuesday" mit Zooey Deschanel und “Les enfants sennuient le dimanche” (Die Kinder langweilen sich sonntags) mit Elijah Wood.       It's time to expand my sunglasses collection! I have a special model by Marc Jacobs in my mind but while I'm saving money for it, I like to look around at other brands. And there is one label that I'm totally thrilled about since I kwow it: Oliver Peoples.
